Citizenship Application Stages

STAGE 1: INITIAL DUE DILIGENCE

• Conducted by FIU, Immigration & Interpol
• 3 Clearance Letters issued if no red flags

Biometrics Submission : To receive a Vanuatu passport, all new citizens regardless of age must submit biometric data in person, either in Vanuatu or at an approved overseas office in the UAE, New Caledonia, Hong Kong or Brussels. This data is used to create a chip embedded in the passport.
